Another successful #StayForceFit challenge by Serve & Protect Credit Union!

£1,000 to be paid to the South Wales Police welfare fund!

The 2022 #StayForceFit challenge, which kicked off on the 1st of February 2022, has now finished and the winning police forces have been announced. #StayForceFit is a fitness challenge that was first organised by Serve & Protect Credit Union (CU) in February 2021, as a way of improving wellbeing during the national lockdown. Participants are encouraged to exercise and submit miles on behalf of their police force, with the top 3 forces winning money towards their welfare funds.

Following the success of the #StayForceFit challenge in 2021, it was organised once again by Serve & Protect in 2022. This year, hundreds of people took part from 14 different police forces, covering a total of 24,330 miles collectively.

As a credit union, we are proud to not only provide much-needed support to welfare funds, but also to improve wellbeing and camaraderie amongst police forces.

Highlights from the 2022 #StayForceFit Challenge

Rob Lovesey, Business Development Manager, Serve and Protect CU, said: “The #StayForceFit Challenge is something to look forward to every February. We were particularly happy with the number of submissions that we received this year, which was higher than the 2021 figure. It’s great that more people took part this year. We are proud to provide a much-needed boost to the police welfare funds, while also encouraging people to get moving! Exercise can help morale, and we know that working as a team is key to the success of the #StayForceFit Challenge. Just ask South Wales Police, who have managed to win the challenge two years in a row!”
