What is a credit union?

Credit unions are not-for-profit financial organisations. At the heart of it, they are all about putting people before profit. They’re here to provide a helping hand, whether you’re looking to save a bit more or need a loan.

Who can become a member?

To join our community and enjoy the unique benefits we offer, there is specific criteria you’ll need to meet.

If you work in or receive a pension from police, prison, military, fire, or health services you can become a member today. You can also join us if you have an immediate family member living with you, that is already part of our credit union.

How much do I need to save in order to become a member?

All our members are encouraged to save a minimum of £10 per month into a Regular Saver Account. This helps you build a nest egg for the future while enjoying the benefits of consistent savings.

Can I make savings and loan repayments from my salary?

If you work for an employer who has set up a payroll deduction with us, you will be able to save and borrow with deductions straight from your salary.

If your employer hasn’t joined yet, don’t worry. As long as you meet our membership criteria, we welcome you to join with the ease of direct debit.
