Serve and Protect CU launch with Leicestershire Police

Serve and Protect welcome Leicestershire Police as their latest payroll partner!

Leicestershire Police have become the latest organisation to launch Serve and Protect Credit Union as a free employee benefit for their colleagues, providing an option for their officers and staff to save and borrow, with repayments from their pay.

Leicestershire Police are now one of over 30 forces who offer payroll deduction to their colleagues – joining Lincolnshire Police, Derbyshire Constabulary, Norfolk Constabulary and Durham Constabulary who became payroll partners in 2021.

Serve and Protect aim to help their members save, whilst also being there if they need to borrow throughout their career. The service is currently available to employees of the Police, Prison, Military, Fire and Health Services.

Rob Lovesey, Business Development Manager, Serve and Protect CU, said: “We are delighted to welcome Leicestershire Police. The importance of enabling payroll deduction for their colleagues cannot be understated. We now work with over 30 Police Forces throughout England and Wales, serving over 37,000 members.

We know that the convenience of payroll deduction makes saving easier, but it also provides access to affordable credit for those who may not have anywhere else to turn. Every payroll partnership we launch genuinely makes a difference to the lives of our members.”
