Save the date! – AGM (Annual General Meeting)

Serve and Protect CU invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting on Thursday 27th of January 2022.

If you plan on attending the AGM, please save this date in your calendar. The agenda for the AGM, as well as other information will be available soon. We will notify you of this information becoming available via e-mail, and it will also be published on the Serve and Protect CU website.

What is an AGM?

An annual general meeting (AGM) is a yearly gathering of members of the Credit Union, as an opportunity to discuss the performance and strategic direction of the organisation for the previous financial year and beyond.

One of the benefits of being a member of Serve and Protect CU is your ability to attend this meeting, which could help you to get a better understanding of how the organisation is performing. This also presents an opportunity to meet our board of directors, all of which have been elected by you.

The AGM is also where you will have an opportunity to consider and vote on proposed changes to the credit union’s rulebook. For instance, this could mean potentially expanding the credit union’s common bond or changing how the credit union’s governance works.

We look forward to welcoming you to the upcoming Serve and Protect CU Annual General Meeting.
