Member of Serve and Protect awarded £5,000 first prize!

We are delighted to say that a member of Serve and Protect Credit Union was the lucky winner of £5,000 in the PrizeSaver draw for March.

The winner, an Officer from Devon and Cornwall Police, received the headline prize of £5,000 straight into their credit union account.

Paul Norgrove, CEO of Serve and Protect Credit Union, said:

Given the current situation, we couldn’t be more thrilled that one of our members has won the £5,000 first prize. It comes at a time where our members are going above and beyond, putting themselves at risk, to serve and protect our nation. We hope to see even more of our Serve and Protect family win the £5,000 prize in the coming months, as more of our members open PrizeSaver accounts!

In addition to our £5,000 winner, a further 5 members of Serve and Protect Credit Union received £20.

What is the PrizeSaver?

The PrizeSaver is part of a collaboration between the Treasury and 15 credit unions across Britain to pilot a prize-linked savings account. Savers who put away as little as £1 with the credit union will have a chance to win up to £5,000 every month. Every pound you have in your account, up to £200, enters you into a monthly prize draw.

What could I win?

Every month, those who are part of the PrizeSaver and have at least £1 in their account are randomly selected to win money.

  • 1 saver will win £5,000
  • 20 savers will win £20

So far, there have been 84 winners, with a total of £21,600 paid out since the first draw in December 2019. Don’t miss out on the next draw, you can open your PrizeSaver account today in just a couple of minutes.
