Introducing the PrizeSaver!

We have teamed up with HM Treasury to launch a new PrizeSaver account

Good news! To mark International Credit Union Day (Thursday 17 October), we have teamed up with HM Treasury to launch a new PrizeSaver account for our members.

Police CU are one of 15 credit unions participating in the PrizeSaver pilot, which gives savers the chance to win up to £5,000 per month.

The PrizeSaver pilot is scheduled to run until the end of March 2021.

So, how does it work?

The PrizeSaver account is simple: for every £1 in a PrizeSaver account at the end of each month, you will receive one automatic entry into the following month’s prize draw, up to a maximum of £200.

For example, if you have £20 in your PrizeSaver account, you will receive 20 entries into the monthly prize draw, and if you have the maximum value of £200, you will receive 200 entries.

Each month, there will be one prize of £5,000 awarded, as well as a further 20 prizes of £20. The first prize-draw is set to take place in mid-December.

And not to worry, your money is also protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme up to £85,000.
