The idea of missing out on a bargain can be a daunting prospect for many of us, especially in the run up to Christmas. The idea of being disappointed or missing an opportunity to save some money can drive consumers into purchasing beyond their means. If someone else is getting a good deal, this is also a driver for consumers to get in on a good deal.
