Joining the Royal Navy in January 2021 marked a major life change for Henry. After completing phase one and two of his training, he moved from Coventry to Portsmouth to begin his new chapter.
While the Navy offered incredible benefits, adjusting to a reduced income compared to his civilian earnings was initially challenging. At the time, Henry was juggling the cost of living in the UK, paying rent alongside other expenses, and supporting his family back home in Ghana.
