Overview of our Serve and Protect Annual Review for 2018/19
We’re excited to share the highlights from 2018/2019 financial year with you. In the review, you’ll find an overview of our financial performance and a look back at some of our key achievements over the past year.
Our CEO, Paul Norgrove, shares exciting updates about the incredible changes we’ve made this year. We’ve been focusing on expanding our membership, refreshing our branding, and embracing new technology to better serve you. Over the past 12 months, we introduced a new leadership team and empowered our managers with more responsibility to run their departments. This has not only improved efficiency but also encouraged fresh ideas and innovation.
We were also proud to introduce our new umbrella brand, Serve and Protect CU, which brings together our specialised services for Police CU, Prison CU, and Military CU.
As highlighted in our annual accounts and Director of Finance Report, it’s been a year of remarkable growth. We’re thrilled to share that the amount we loaned to our members grew by £6.4 million—from £18 million in 2018 to an impressive £24.4 million in 2019.
